We recognise that manufacture specific training is an important facet towards understanding the operation of a BMS within your building but we endorse and deploy client-training regimes that include all aspects of the overall systems rather than component items. These training courses are carried out at site level on an individual one-to-one or group basis to ensure that your on-site team understands the overall system that will undoubtedly assist in remedying solutions in the future.
Our philosophy is such that we actively encourage the end-user or maintenance contractor to become involved with using the BMS as it was intended, as a tool to assist in the operation and monitoring of the building. We actively seek to remove the 'black art', 'smoke and mirrors' approach to BMS by being open and honest with the functionality and capability of such systems.
Typically a training programme would provide the following:
- A basic knowledge of the buildings building management system
- Familiarisation of the building management systems network layout and configuration
- Familiarisation of the building management system hardware and component parts
- Develop skills in the operation and application of any BMS display panels
- Develop skills in operation and application of the BMS head-end or supervisor
Any on-site training will be provided by one of the senior engineering team on a one to one basis or up to a maximum of four engineers per day. Training must be arranged through our head office, quotations for training will be provided for a minimum of one day, inclusive of travelling.
